German authorities apprehended Romanian nationals following their rejection at border checkpoints

In the picturesque town of Rosenheim, Germany, the Federal Police Inspectorate has made headlines once again. On August 27, a Romanian national was arrested near Kiefersfelden by the Rosenheim Federal Police officers.

The individual was initially checked at a Federal Police control point on the A93. The arrest was due to an outstanding warrant, with further details about the case to be found on the inspectorate's website or by contacting the provided email addresses.

The Rosenheim Federal Police Inspectorate is primarily focused on ensuring the safety of rail passengers and rail infrastructure, maintaining approximately 370 kilometers of track and 70 stations and stops. However, their work extends beyond this, as they are particularly active against cross-border crime.

Their main focus is on combating the smuggling of foreigners and irregular, illegal migration. This work spans an approximately 200-kilometer-long section of the German-Austrian border, from Chiemsee to Zugspitze. The federal police station in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is also assigned to the Rosenheim Federal Police Inspectorate.

After serving part of his sentence, the Romanian was deported to his home country. Upon his return to Germany, the remaining sentence became due, and he was taken to the Bernau Justice Prison. The occupant of a Polish-registered vehicle had previously been sentenced in 2020 by the Düsseldorf Regional Court for theft with weapons.

It is worth noting that the head of the Federal Police Directorate Rosenheim is Police Director Volker Klarner. Approximately 450 inspectorate members work in the Rosenheim Federal Police Inspectorate, ensuring the safety and security of the communities they serve.
